I've heard of stories like this. It's like you drove onto a different timeline, or into a parallel Earth. Friends of mine swear that on a road-trip here in the US in 1984, they pulled into a roadside diner that was exactly like a diner in the 1950s. Not just a diner made to look like an old one, but everything, the people and how they were dressed, the food, the menu, the music. Everything.
