One thing we do know is how a microwave oven works. It takes time to generate enough energy to make water boil, or my soup to explode when I forget to cover it.

So with this rational it would have to start a while in advance.

The ufo....... I don't think is the sun either. Near the end of the clip it seems to be below the clouds as it illuminates the bottom of them.
