I'm going to post something now that might be controversial to some of you but I guess it needs to be said.
I was pleasantly surprised that this issue was discussed on the dutch mainstream news and people are waking up.
There was a guy on that called all of this (translated) even the 'aid industry'
I think you have to be careful with:
1. spreading the word/message
2. donate lots of money
They are very eager spreading shocking images and are stimulating masses of people to donate money and sometimes
it is even said money is especially needed do not send other goods.
The means of money is very likely the reason why these
situations are abused or maybe even induced !
I noticed myself sometimes how UN is 'facilitating' the aid but does not aid themselves. And sometimes shocking images are
used to exhibit the need for money.
I became convinced now that if we donate money to the non-sincere organizations we create such an industry or
at least keep it alive.
Although there is no proof it leads to suspicion that it indeed may be an induced calamity (if groups of people get control over this).
I think it is important to at least be AWARE of this and spread that word as well.
Yesterday may wife was mad at me because I made her aware of this and she lost the 'romantic' view of the UN and
other 'main aid' organizations. But she starts to see the indications as such herself now too.
As known to many of you: the truth will set you free but first it pisses you off.
So let's use our creativity optimally to stimulate aid BUT in the right way !
