There are indeed Grey fractions ('soldiers of fortune') with a bad reputation, who are working with/for the Reptilians. That is the
Reptilian renegades.
Brown describes these renegades - who interact with humans - as extremely hostile predators. But they are a minority in their own society. A very dangerous minority nonetheless, because they pretty much do as they please.
