Very interesting thank you Jason. You also have reminded of the star like light which i have been viewing the last few clear nights that we have had here. It is low on the Horizon looks like a bright star but gives off alternating flickers of sharp blue and red light, fascinating. Also notice how Mars is so very Bright and ominously red these days.
