Thanks for starting a thread on “smile”, mikey!
Now, there is a lady that I meet almost every morning, while walking my dog. She is one of those poor homeless women that talk to themselves, always desperately looking around just to find someone who would respond back. Usually – to no avail. So, one day she passed by me in her usual manner ... talking, looking ... All of a sudden I felt this urge deep inside ... like a flame of a forgotten candle ... like a trapped ray of sunshine ready to jump out into the freedom ... I stopped ... she stopped ... I looked at her ... she looked back with her eyes full of hope ... my puppy’s tail wiggling ... silence ... And
I smiled at her ...
she smiled back ... This moment will stay embedded in my heart forever! The story behind her smile was yet to be told ... it is a tale of a soul longing for kindnesses, human dignity and Love, while at the same time crying out the days of loneliness and sorrow. From that moment on – we smile at each other, every morning, till the end of infinite Time.
And, as I love roses, her is one, for all of you that keep smiling from the place of your Pure Heart!
