there are a lot of interesting theories on this thread. I enjoy reading them.

i would like to say that Yemen and the gulf of Aden could be oil related though. Yemen, though nearly out of oil is a strategic location for oil pipelines. Who ever controls the pipeline controls the oil. Last year, their main pipeline was blown up.

They are set to start construction on a new pipeline very soon. The Gulf of Aden is a needed oil transport port.

As to the Baltic Dry index, I started following it when the credit bubble burst. That is the reason no shipping has been shrinking, no credit to move ships.

When one looks at pipelines and shipping ports you start to see an obvious pattern of where the wars are, who they involve and who controls the wars.

There are also a number of magnetic anomalies though out the globe and one anomaly doesn't necessarily mean there are underwater cities, ships, ect.

I do believe there are ET's here and there are underwater ships, ect. But not in this area. I think there is a silent war being waged right now between the USA and Russia. It's over control of oil pipelines and ports. TPTB would honestly rather have us think there is some sort of alien conspiracy, alien wars, ect than to realize what is going on in the world is totally under our control.

We really under-think just how much we rely on oil and oil based products.

we use oil for:

gasoline
propane
plastics
rubbers
lubricants
pesticides
fertilizers
heating fuel
construction supplies
manufacturing supplies
packaging

oil makes my computer possible.

it's that important! But what is more important than supply is control of that supply. We are in a secret war with other power, Russia, China, ect...for control of the world's oil pipelines. That's what the war on terror, war on drugs, war on just about anything you can think of is really about.

So, bearing in mind that most wars are secret and for control wouldn't make more sense to make people believe we are fighting anything but a war for oil pipelines? If I were in a position of power not only would I want people to believe we had secret bases with ET and huge space program but also I would deliberately feed false info into the system to keep that image up rather than tell everyone what dirty little war we really are in.

Regardless of what aliens are here and what they are doing here I do not believe there is any situation that is beyond our own control. I do believe however, that there are powerful people who want you to think there are.

Perhaps that is what the whistle blowers are trying to say. We really do have control, but the government doesn't want us to know that.
