So, the government's OFFICIAL prorogation story:
'The government says it needs the time to outline the next part of its action plan.' No government 'til March/09. (They were supposed to be back Jan25.) All this for an 'Economic Action Plan'? Why can't this puny potato head CPC government do both at the same time. Also, it might be handy to have a Parliament on duty, while the Olympics are happening. No?
The government and its spokespeople have said it's 'routine' - a Constitutional expert disagrees. More than 30 Bills (!), including C-32 White Collar Crime, will have to be re-introduced. Many of these Bills Harper Himself said were 'urgent.' That includes the special
Commons Committee (gov. website),* whose XX was dismissed and Tory MP's didn't show up for, i.e. no-shows.**
All the work done in the last Session of Parliament is ... gone.
From the video, hmm. Verint (Mossad contractor) doing private security at Vancouver 2010 (they were in charge of security during London 7/7 bombings - cameras magically shut off then), sound canons for demonstrators, if there are any.
OF INTEREST: Nov, 2009. Colvin was testifying as Prime Minister Stephen Harper was in the air, flying from New Delhi, India, to Ottawa. At a refueling stop in Croatia at about 8:30 pm ET, PMO communications staff were seen conferring with Harper’s national security advisers.

*In his sworn testimony Colvin told a special Commons committee that prisoners were turned over to Afghanistan’s notorious intelligence service, the National Directorate of Security, by the Canadian military in 2006-2007 despite warnings that they would be tortured. He also suggested that the Conservative-led government may have tried to cover up what was happening.
