I would have a tendency to disagree with your first statement, although I only have my own perceptual orientation to base this on.
Regarding there being anything 'wrong' about our DnA, the only thing that is wrong; is that the majority of humanity have not awakened into the 'quantum levels' of ourselves or shifted from the 'helix to hologram' view.
I would concur that 'all dna is precious'.
