Agreed about the frustration with our new leader in that he has sent more troops. Unbelievable! However, I will have to say that I see jobs all over the place here in my county and the neighboring county, all due to the stimulus package. These are rural, hard working folks who now have what they need for their families. They are winterizing homes, laying fiber optic cable, and putting down roads where they are so desperately needed. School buses will be able to reach the farthest back roads, along with internet service for small rural businesses. Imperative. In place. Ongoing. An investment in the future. So, wanted to make it clear that most people complain. It is far more rare to hear the good stuff. I am one of those people who will have the courage to tell the good stuff. Sure, people may feel that we did not deserve the winterizing of my old home, but I'll tell ya, I sure am glad as the freezing temperatures would have made our home miserable. The South US homes were built when energy was abundant, and we, the new owners, always have to pay for that lack of foresight. Okay, enough for now. Peace.
