I have never responded to someone for the sake of argument. I have only tryed to add my 2 cents if it had any value to the topic.
Ignoring the negative attacks has always worked for me.

A difference in opinions is added value to any topic.
I'm directed or swayed by additional information as it's presented to me. I want to be "enlightened", and appreciate sound logical input on a topic.
I read 32 pages of posts on MMS before I made my decision to purchase it.
(Don't get me started on my results..Long Story.. I'm back on it again January 1st. That stuff is NOT candy. Effective as heck..Read the Rulebook tho.)
Everyones input helped me draw my own conclusions on whether to buy it or not. Good and Bad.
Other topics also lead me to my own conclusions.Good and Bad opinions included. Negative comments to troll? I read past them easily.
