In fact it is NOT easy ... have you ever done the experiment where you hold a spinning bicycle wheel with both hands on each side
and then try to change the angle it is spinning in ?
The reason it is NOT easy is the very same reason that you can ride a bike on 2 wheels.
The same principle is achieved by a boomerang by the way. The boomerang itself cannot turn away from it's course that easy.
But because it additionally is wing shaped the wing will pull it slightly out of course so it can make a 'steady' 360 degree turn.
