It's called market manipulation.
The guys upstairs are trying to temporarily prop up the market so they can get better organized and get all "their" monies out. Then they will remove the temporary support beams (Oct 2) the mine shaft will be collapsed and anyone who didn't get out before Oct 2nd will die from massive injuries or starvation and dehydration of the money veins.
Don't waste your money on gold and silver. Stock up on food water and basic supplies you use. That will be the only valuable asset in the future.
When the trader days come back you can easily find metals and furs and rawhide to trade for other things.
Cigerattes, alcohol, and candy are gonna be the things we dream about in the future.....lol
