What is regarded as 'Junk DnA' is actually more properly referred to as 'non-coding'. There is alot of information available on the internet for perusal via a simple query such as 'Junk DnA' or 'non-coding dna'.

As an aside, and based on my own personal self exploration. I would have to say that at the quantum level within our DnA there is a voluminous amount of information stored. It appears to exist inside of what I personally call 'holographic storage modules'.
This information can be accessed and perceived directly as projections upon ones internal visual field, if you use the correct internal magnifying lens.
The information does include details regarding the 'stellar ancestry of the human species'.
If you are looking for evidence that perhaps may hint at some type of 'ancient genetic engineering'.
You might want to look into 'chromosome 2 fusion', whether it was something that occurred 'naturally' or was this 'fusion' achieved via engineering ?
That's a pretty good question if you ask me.
