Beautifully put futureyes......I couldn't have expressed it better than that.

India Yogi's call it "being drunk with God" And yes trying to maintain a normal life becomes very difficult.

Ramakrishna used to smoke a pipe (not because he was addicted to tobacco) but so he could come back down to earth, so to speak.

There's a great story in Autobiography of a Yogi of a postman who didn't want to learn higher kriya yoga techniques because he was already so God intoxicated he couldn't make his deliveries properly.

PS IMHO I believe that is why so many people get caught up in drink and drugs as it is I believe an attempt to recreate the blissfilled state.
