was it not once where the majority thought to enter war was true and right ... our fathers ... sons and brothers never returning from those fields ...

and now many believe differently ...

but are we really meant to sacrifice our own life for another ...

on the surface ... the answer would appear to be quick and clear ... well but of course i would give my life for my child's life ... or another that i love ...

but on a deeper level ... i feel this may not have such clarity ... to sacrifice our own life experience ...

to sacrifice ... our most precious gift given to us ...

our lives ...

on the whole ... to the whole ... what benefit does this have ...

to self ... to others ...

is this truly love ...

something to ponder on ...
