I once knew a Freemason and actually became good friends with him, despite some of our enormous difference of opinions.
But he was an incredible individual, who probably taught me far more in the short time I knew him than all the studies I'd ever taken from preschool all the way to college graduate level.
I think the Freemasons, at least some of them, are not bad people, while others, and according to many sources, apparently like many important organizations, have been infiltrated at the highest level, and even some high ranking Freemasons are clueless about this. Add the fact secrecy is an important aspect of their society but it will be their own demise unfortunately.
The point is just trying to learn everything you can from people, despite these background differences. I certainly learned A LOT from the individual I met a while ago.
