Default Re: Last Try (I suspect, in vein. Hope I am wrong.)...

Hmmm...many people have been to church, bible studies, read the bible, read it again, been to more church and bible studies...and chose something else. Sometimes rejecting christianity completely, sometimes holding some respect for it and those that believe in it.

Can we allow people to make their own choices and respect that without insisting they listen to us telll them we have the truth and they are gone astray?

I think so.

I have no interest in christianity, which, along with other religions claims an exclusive on truth, but don't reject the central message of Jesus, which, of course, is heresy to christianity. That's ok, it's my choice.

I was raised christian and believed it until I could no longer accept it, so I moved on -- as many others have. I have no quarrel with those that remain or convert.

Each to his own best understanding of the truth.

What I'm saying is, few want to discuss christianity on a non-christian forum and there's not much that can be done about it. You may want what very few here want, and that is causing, and is going to continue to cause, you great frustration.

You may want to consider doing something that won't cause this frustration.

All the best,
Robyn
