The self as we are programmed to experience it is an illusion. A person is not a psychological entity.
Spiritual enlightenment dissolves the boundaries and identifications and conceptual structures, so that an adult is presence of Spirit, rather than Joe or Bob or whoever. Nobody is anybody, in Reality. We're all just the presence of the omnipresence.

Like Christians use "Jesus loves me this I know" or whatever. Problem is, those things aren't true.
I am the universe is absolutely true. Reality is God is also absolutely true.
The great masters have said it and known it forever, but now it's been proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

The mind's remembrance and holding of what was, is what clouds the soul from perceiving what isn't.
What isn't is God.
We all come from the great Nothing, and are, ultimately the great nothing whence we came.
