I only watch docus and such I never really got into the news as I know its just garbage anyway. Since i turned off the idiot box, I have been able to focus more on me and my family, and even tho' they are teens the don't seem to mind not having it on, to which i find awesome, And what i find even more fascinating is that is i have made no rule about when or what to watch and they still rarely ever turn on the box, save for the x-mas specials..
