First they rolled out "materialism" to enslave us, & keep us chained to the buy, buy, buy mentality. It was not entirely effective, we still were not happy with our new fancy car, speed boat, big home etc. It did not fill the void within us, we needed something more, & they saw this, so they rolled out the technology gadgets to satisfy that hunger for something more. The technology seemed to be even more dangerous to us, because now we are enslaved by this also, & plus it is harmful to our bodies, thereby successfully keeping us zoned out all the time. Again this satisfies us for a period of time, & the more awake ones try to steer clear of these toys which allows them the freedom of mind to pursue the mysteries of our lives.

They may have enslaved us for the moment, but we are strong despite it, they severely underestimated the human spirit to rise up and become whole again.
