it's us who have to defend ourselfs, not the military, not the government
and what is 30000 compered to population of 300000000, it's 1% of 1%, they don't make to much of a difference

males age 16-49: 59,764,677
females age 16-49: 59,437,663
substract those that are serving and are abroad, you still have 110 000 000 minimum, even if you would have 1 000 000 chiniese troops here that's still 1-110 ratio, I don't see any way 1 guy with best training and guns could kill 110!!!
