Re: The choice we make ..the way we look at things make all the difference
The animals mirror our consciousness. They match us. This was brought home to me when we reared a wild boar. He lived free and came and went as he wished. I initially worried about him becoming vicious. I thought about this and what came to me was that he would only be dangerous to us if we were fearful and agressive to him. And that is how it was. I observed this in him. When he was young he was out of sorts and not friendly one day, then I discovered he was 'teething', his tusks were coming through.!!
Pumba the pig also wanted to hang out with the horses and he taught them that he would not harm them. They kicked and bit the hell out of him before they finally accepted him, but he just pursevered until they did accept him. It was very funny watching a wild pig play and sleep with horses as they are natural enemies!!!
He eventually took to the hills to find a mate. I was sad to see him go but it was nice to know him, he taught us about 'the lion lying with the lamb'.
