I found the headline in a UK paper quite interesting. I can't remember it exactly but to paraphrase:

Obama to send 30,000 troops to Afghanistan to pave the way for the exit.

I thought the whole idea of leaving a place was to remove people from there, not send more. Unless of course these soldiers are actually building a pavement between Afghanistan and America.
