I have received a response from Tona. She lives in Blount County, Tennessee, which she says is the county above Monroe (and no connection here).

She has no knowledge of the story from local sources, but will let me know if she finds out anything.

Additionally, I have just sent an email to JB Williams asking for status of the December 1 hearing that he reported about in his story.
