I do not think he discredited the environmental movement, but shared what's happened to it, and how it has been co-opted for a corporate / political means to control and use society to further their profits and ideals.

I don't think Republicans are anti-environmental. I think they are anti-socialist big government controlled society... Well, the old conservative Republicans that is. Neocons are the same as socialists.

They don't even know what socialism is do they? Instead, they rely on old Cold War fears to justify their actions. Did they think Dr.Strangelove was a documentary?(!)

And for 8 years, Republicans stood aside while Shrub racked up a huge deficit yet they're out there, dumping out teabags and crying their lame asses off over Obama.

The Global warming scheme has been proven to be false science when it tries to connect CO2 rising with causing Global warming. It's data, records, models, and even physics arguments have been proven false. Yes, there is climate change here on earth, just as there is on all the other planets. Man is not the cause of that change and has very little real effect on the climate. We can no more control the climate than we could stop Mt. Vesuvius from blowing up. We need to have transparency in science, data analysis and gathering and we need to work on real solutions to pollution, good drinking water, and healthy food for all as well as free energy. If we do these things, we will truly be a better people.

I'd like to see you use scientific methods to prove your words instead of just relying on what some Fox crony said.

Imagine if all the money we spent on pseudo science went to these things how much better our world would be.

Yes, because a world full of arrogant, pompous, jackass right-wing Republicans would surely be better than one of socialists, right?


You'll have to excuse my negativity but this rant is a long time in the making. I've tried countless times to ignore things but it's not easy. I've tried countless times to stay positive and instead, I end up at a place that seems to support the tea-bagging crybabies that make up this country. People who were too cowardly to protest when Bush was in office. People who will never stand up to the current machine.

Instead, they'll use the internet as their hidey hole and pretend to give a **** about the rest of the world.

We can move beyond this tea-bagging, global-warming denying ********. I don't care about the exact science. SOMETHING is going on and being the kind of people we are, we just have to "tag it and bag it" instead of examining the greater cause of it.

Why should I believe this site is any different than a typical right-wing site like Rense or ATS?
