The only failed prophesy is the one that comes true.

Prophesies are a warning if you keep going this way, this is what you will get.

Change your course by even .5 degrees and you will end up in a new place 10 miles down the road.

The people who know how to manipulate time and space go to work on negative prophecies - so most of them do not come true.
