Indeed very interesting.
Such a list makes people think twice before talking about end-times and certainly giving end-dates.
There is even a name for the study of end-time thinking :
eschatology
End-time thinking is as old as mankind.
Some remarks though.
Even if you have been wrong 1000 times, the 1001th time you still can be right.
The fact end-time thinking is so persistent must have a reason.
Maybe life here on earth feels less a present than a punishment to people, so they dream of the end of the punishment, after which the suffering will end.
Maybe an old powerfull legend of end-times just keeps having an impact on peoples mind, so even when proven wrong time and time again, they keep replaying it. Almost all cultures have a legend about a great flood. This might happen again, who knows. Almost all religions, speak about the return of their savior. The second return of Christ. The return of the Mahdi (muslim), Budha (budhists)... The coming of the messias (jews)... These are powerful archetypes. People long for it, mostly because they don't like life as it is.
Maybe it is genetic. With scans of the brain, they can predict if one will be religious or not. Maybe there is something similar for end-time thinking.
Maybe there really is something like pre-sensing, precognition, which launches within certain people end-time visions, or feelings. Then of course, there would have to be something deserving the name end-time, to be pre-sensed, precognitioned.
Maybe it's nothing more than superstition only affecting certain sensible people.
Maybe it's yet another way of keeping people in fear, in line, ... as religions do.
If you ask me. Most people believing in end-times, are really longing for it. It's a desire for change, in themselves, in the world.
Often you see what you want to see. If you want an end-time, you will see signs of it coming.
Nowadays you also have a commercial side to it.
