Sorry but in my opinion they are just some well meaning humans trying to put forward a message of love but using the idea of aliens to do it.
They used to talk with German or Dutch accents but have now switched to that silly computer voice.
People do the strangest things to get themselves noticed, even if no one knows who they are.
