I'm on the same page. Unless it's a work of utter, universal brilliance that can be understood by even those who read the post as a stand-alone piece, it should belong to the writer. There might be content that's embarrasing to the writer if a family member reads it or something. Only they know and if they didn't have a reason, they wouldn't have deleted it.
By the way. I don't know what I'm talking about because I don't know if the former memeber passed away or just left the group. What happned?
