Re: Tolkien`s world
I read pretty much everything from Tolkien. I am still drawn to it and still amazed how he knew a lot of background stuff of what is going on in the world... And he poured it beautifully in his works...
My favorite movie scene was when in Return of the king ,on the crowning of Aragorn, now already high king of Gondor and Middle earth Aragorn says to hobbits : " My friends ,you bow to no one!" and then kneel down and all the tall folks and elves and dwarfs knelt down to them, the smallest of actors of the scene.
It gives a strong message about friendship, and absence of ego.
