If only the whole truth was as simple as the traditional fundamental christian view... well wouldn't that be nice for those who preach it, but boring for the reality of the situation..

Do you know in Deuteronomy the one you call "God" RedeZra, the one who demanded blood from it's "chosen people", also commanded that those with a deformity not be allowed in the temple, not be allowed to connect to God. Not only that, their children were also banned for life from the temple. Not only that, their children's children were as banned for life from the temple, all because their grandfather was not physically perfect.

That's "God" huh?

Consider re-reading Deuteronomy and clearing the "mind" (which RedeZra, you claim is evil), and ask the real Jesus Christ to help you see whether or not this Jehovah character and old testament god's is the "Father" that Jesus spoke of.

I personally feel sick to my stomach that this association is even made... makes me wanna puke.

The ones who continuously quoted scripture in Jesus day were the Scribes and the Pharisees. These are the same ones that put Jesus on the cross. The ones who followed the outer law but inside were dead men's bones, the ones that claimed that their 'bible' was the authority on God, their the ones that tried to kill the Living Christ.

Yet today, fundamental Christianity goes back to the dead word to create a story their ego likes and connect the very false god's that Jesus came to denounce, the god's that are outside of us, and turns Jesus story into a reason to keep worshiping them and giving up their power rather than following in Jesus footsteps like he wanted and knowing too that "I and my father are One".

Yes, I think there is more to the story, and I think those that are Jesus' sheep will follow the More in their heart, rather than the dead word that the scribes and the pharisees were pushing on the people.
