I have encountered the mormons in dark suits, white shirts & ties, & they usually carry some material to hand out. I have found them to be nice, polite, & not forceful at all. They have never posed a question about the afterlife, that is a strange opening line in Ammits case.
Jacqui: In your case, why would
2 men come around selling "roofing", that seems odd to me, & sound s like they were dressed somewhat like business men, which is also odd. Men selling roofing usually have a truck in the driveway or roadside, & are dressed more in jeans or other working clothes.
