I think you had Mormon Missionaries visiting you.
Dark suit dresscode, young males, work in pairs, could be from anywhere in the world and often required to learn a new language if the country they are going to speaks a language they do not know, hence the wierd accent.
They seem to be overly interested in afterlife.
