It may be hard to believe but there are some people out there who get a kick out of helping others and bringing some more positive energy into the world. There is often no other motive then just an urge to put a smile on someones face.

Any alien race that is on or near this planet right now has access to inter-dimensional travel. A race as evolved as this could not possibly have anything to gain from us other then a few bad habits and maybe some weird kinky human porn.

We are already herded up like good little sheep. If we had mechanical bodies it might be a good thing because at least then we might be able to do something about it.
Its amazing how paranoid people can be. Good advice would be to look at the agenda that the media is pushing in relation to extraterestrials. How many et movies are there that portray aliens in a positive light? SFA.
