Yet again I agree with your thinking..
Going back to the "story" of the best angel "in Gods world" getting a bunch of the others to follow him to "take over" and then the action of "our God?" of locking him and his followers on to this earth....
Yeah your thinking of the 2 universe in regard to physical spiritual WAR is pretty much right on..

We have to keep trying. ( control our own mind, body, and speech.)
