Seriously...I've never had a drink or smoked a joint in my life...but I presently think that hard liquor should be illegal...and that marijuana should be legalized. It should be obtainable in pure form and at a reasonable price from any pharmacy...with a doctor's prescription. The doctor would give a check-up and would counsel regarding the dangers of pot...and would provide a referral to a mental health professional for those with deep-seated issues. Then they would write a prescription aka a ticket to paradise!
The pot would be taxed to the max...to provide 'free' doctor's appointments related to pot. I've spoken with dozens of users about this. Pot would only be a legal issue for pushers...and if laws are broken because of the pot usage. The Libertarian in me comes out for this issue. Even if it were legal...I still wouldn't smoke pot. I'm messed-up enough already!
