I have quite a few, here are some off the top of my head:
1. 1985: Driving my first car, suddenly my foots on the brakes, but I didnt do it - I look up and there is a sea of red lights in-front of me that I didnt hit.
2. 1984: Driving my mums car, inexperienced (one month since passed test). Botched overtake maneuver - car coming otherway, I steer in to sharply - roll oversteer, car hits kerb, flips, I am "Oh Shiiiiiiiiit" - everything goes slow motion - 'YOUR WILL BE ALL RIGHT' - and I was. Car wasnt - total write off.
3. Kidney stones - renal colic - excruciating pain - I just want to die. Voice comes "It will pass, it will pass" - manage to drink about 1 litre of water in 20 mins. Pow - out comes the stone. (It will pass was pretty funny in hindsight - did it mean the pain would pass, or the stone would pass
