Anchor,

Unless people have specifically wished for the moon to be bombed and sent thoughts that way, how are we to blame for this?

We have no control over where our tax dollars go, at least not in the current system.

That being said, I send thoughts towards ensuring that the moon is protected because I believe there is intelligent life out there that may be impacted by it and I wish no harm upon that intelligent life.
