My office went out sometime between last night at 6pm and this morning when some of my reps called me wondering why they couldn't log online... IT claims that all was fine on their end and that our office cables must've gone bad????????
Mind you they can see the servers but when I asked them why do they think suddenly the cables in my office went bad overnight or my switchs they had no answer other than to replace them??????? And after much debate with the very knowledgeable and experienced IT department for many other office buildings that it is only my office with the issue and the transmissions to the wall plug are just fine... OK then, what is my IP address? Hmmmm they pondered, can't seem to find the right one... OK how many other office buildings are not working??? Everyone else is just fine you say??? But suddenly just my office computers overnight now have wrong IP's???? OK take another look then at other office IP's and see..... Ohhhhhh wait three other office buildings are screwed up, Ohhh now another office is down in another city...
I bet you could turn off a whole credit system this way over a period of time and probably not see it.... let's see how far the little bug goes before October 27th????
