Default Re: need help with arthritis..

Wow. So many suggestions here!

Louise Hay says in her book Heal Your Body that physical conditions are the 3-D manifestation of emotional/psychological states reinforced by persistent thought-patterns. Here are her definitions:

Arthritis is [quote]: "Feeling unloved. Criticism, resentment."
The affirmation to use to form a new thought pattern is [quote]: "I am love. I now choose to love and approve of myself. I see others with love."

Gout is [quote]: "The need to dominate. Impatience, anger."
The affirmation to use [quote]: "I am safe and secure. I am at peace with myself and with others."

Ringworm is [quote]: "Allowing others to get under your skin. Not feeling good enough or clean enough."
The affirmation [quote]: "I love and approve of myself. No person, place or thing has any power over me. I am free."

Psoriasis is [quote]: "Fear of being hurt. Deadening the senses of the self. Refusing to accept responsibility for our own feelings."
The affirmation [quote]: "I am alive to the joys of living. I deserve and accept the very best in life. I love and approve of myself."

I always refer to Louise Hay whenever anything physical is happening with myself. Here is how I use the information: Basically I just read it and drop the thought into my consciousness/subconscious. I might ponder for a moment or two whether I feel that what she says could possibly refer to me. (Usually it does!) And I contemplate the affirmation and see how I feel about that too. Usually I find that I need to be doing something different in my life.

The metaphysics I know says that the physical is the last level of manifestation, and that problems ignored or not dealt with at other levels (mental, emotional, spiritual) WILL find physical expression. I offer these thoughts for contemplation. Perhaps they will help in some way.
