Ok, having watched the vid, I am dangerously close to being confused here.

Is there a case for "Tens of thousands of lightships, appearing in the sky" not causing a bit of "tension & fear"?

Is there a Galactic Federation-Lite ? One without Obamacare? Because "Managed Death" really doesn't interest me.
