The truth scares the hell out of them, they don't want to stop believing the lies they have been told, what would they do with themselves if everything they had built lives around disappeared?? They may or may not like some of the stuff they are told but at least they feel secure with it.
I watch them as I travel around, it amazes me that they are so unaware of what is really going on
