Sounds like Earth Crust Dis-placement theory to me.
This a view taken by some Geologist: When the magnetic poles shift (which thay say is overdue) there is a point during shift where the polarities cancell each other out causing no gravity...
This then cause's the physical poles to move (ECD) in other words the earths crust rotates on its liquid mantle.
Some say this can take weeks to years to occur while others say hours. If this was to happen then all continents, oceans, everything that is will shift.
This they say has happened many times in the past.
