Anthropologists and biologists have been studying a skeleton unearthed in Ethiopia that is about 4.4 million years old. It is our ancient ancestor, according to them.
What is proves is that apes actually descended from humans, rather than the other way around. This is what I have stated in my work many times.
Human biology has not changed very much over those years, while chimpanzees and other simians have evolved different body types. They have different internal structures that are relatively "new" compared to humanity.
This also explains why we never find chimpanzee or gorilla fossils--they just have not been around that long!"
