I was wondering if this would come up, and your right, in many CULT-ures it does sound racist. Of course in the case of the brotherhood, it not referring to skin colour.
Going off topic a little but I am of the belief that the whole idea of racism is in itself racist.
It divides us and puts into categories based on the colour of our skin. Even if its supposed intent is to treat everyone as equals, the reality is that the term or idea of racism still creates division subconsciously as well as consciously.
They're very sneaky!
We need more oneness not more division.
