Hi Micjer in all fairness the cash for clunkers program was not the success they envisioned many people purchased imports instead of domestic brands maybe they did it as protest or just went with the car they thought was better but it didn`t have the impact they thought it would . Now i could be wrong and brook would know better but thats just the impression I got from what I have read
