I am not quite as clever or funny as D. Adams was but something I have learned to remind myself, every so often:
Everytime I am pretty sure I have God all figured out, and cornered, I remind myself to Go Get A Bigger God!
It works! The miracle is that, each time I do this, I find myself accompanied by the same old God. He is always laughing.

Great observation. "Connects minds"... to what? The other tricky part is that we normally do this "alone". which does help with feeding fear, and can delay or defray a healthy reality check.
Sometimes I think we'd all be better off if we each gave equal time to both psychics
and skeptics.
