One of my favorites is the Andomeda galaxy which you can see quite clearly with regular binoculars. In the eastern time zone it is roughly direcly overhead at 10:00 PM or so, more or less south of Casseopia.
With good binoculars you can see the four biggest moons of Jupiter.
Venus is currently the morning star. The morning sky looked great this morning with Venus, Orion, and a crescent moon.
And, I have regular interactions with friends in high places, some of which is discussed in other threads.
