I had a huge interest in looking up at the skies after watching close encounters when it came out. That road going to nowhere and the ink blue sky.

I often looked up and 'felt' something would show, but it never did. Gradually grew out of thinking I would ever see anything. I've never seen anything that wasn't convincingly unexplicable. But that doesn't mean I don't believe.

On the contrary, it feels real again, and maybe it always was. Those goosebumps I felt looking up at the sky as a kid may well have been returned attention after all. Who knows?

I forgot to mention that the thing I saw the other night was big, that is, low - easy enough to see the four distinct lights (often planes are so high you just make out one or two blinking lights). But there was no sound. the sky was silent.
